Kia ora, my name is Neelam Vandana Roop,
I am an experienced early childhood educator with over four years of experience in New Zealand ECE settings, along with a strong teaching background in Fiji. I am skilled in building warm, responsive relationships with tamariki and whānau, and in creating inclusive, play-based learning environments aligned with Te Whāriki.
I have experience working with both under-twos and over-twos, including planning and implementing learning experiences, writing learning stories and assessments, supporting daily routines, and engaging effectively with families.
I bring strong cultural competency, excellent communication skills, and a calm, nurturing approach to supporting children’s learning, development, and overall wellbeing.
